Some brief [but very revealing] observations by Romeo Dallaire, author of the recent book:
Shake Hands with the Devil: The Failure of Humanity in Rwanda
Romeo Dallaire was commanding General of U.N. peace-keeping forces in the small African country of Rwanda during the infamous genocidal events of April through July 1994, in which c. 800,000 Tutsi Rwandans (men, women and children) were systematically hacked to pieces by extreme political factions of machete-wielding Hutu Rwandans, with the tacit approval of the then-sitting Rwandan "government," [and the informed and remotely-observing community of world states] while General Dallaire and his meager troops stood alone and powerless against the astonishing juggernaut* of raw evil which was sweeping the country during that demonically darkened period in recent history...

* Please note the intriguing corollary to our general discussion inherent in the term "juggernaut," an ancient Sanskrit word which, in modern usage, suggests "unstoppable destructive power," and which means [literally] "lord of the world," a not-so-subtle reference to "Vishnu," the supreme god of the Hindu pantheon, "Vishnu" likely being one of the many very ancient names used to refer to the demon Prince of India... General Dallaire’s experience is recounted in his book of the above title, which brings us to the reason for considering here some very telling verbiage which he uses in his unique assessment of the macabre dynamics which were in effect in Rwanda at that time - the title of his book succinctly suggesting that the Devil was in the details. Says the General in haunting retrospect regarding his meeting with three key Rwandan individuals who were involved in directing the horrific nation-wide massacre of their fellow countrymen...

"...what I saw in those people, in their eyes, was not the eyes of human beings. It was the eyes of evil." |
The General's recollection of his eerie encounter with these men is very worthy of careful note because he is probably nearly alone in the history of humanity as one who has [very likely] negotiated personally with a high-ranking demon prince at such close range, via the mediumship of these possessed human emissaries of evil with whom he spoke...

As a concluding thought in this narrative detour, we might consider the Bible’s matter-of-fact confirmation that such phenomena as the Rwandan massacre can [indeed] be instigated [at will] by the Devil when and if he choses. To that end, in the Bible book of Job, one of the most ancient portions of the Bible, we witness compelling demonstrations of Satan's machinistic finesse [a la Rwanda] where it is revealed that he [Satan] can, with targeted artifice... |
